Her remit covers fly tipping, litter, graffiti, anti social behaviour, neighbour nuisance and abandoned vehicles. Scrub clearing sessions on Shawford Down
Thanks to grants from Winchester City Council and the Parish Council, The Conservation Volunteers will be running six scrub clearing conservation sessions on Shawford Down.

At its July meeting, the Council assigned responsibilities for the coming year, received a report from the School Governors, approved the plan for wider public consultation about developments on the Memorial Playing Field, and agreed to review the frequency of Council meetings.

As required by law, the Parish Council elected its Chairman and Vice-Chairman for the coming year. Other business included filling the vacancy on the Council, cattle on the Down, cycling on the towpath, planning for future developments on the Memorial Playing Field and the Great War Day.
