Date:           Wednesday 30^th April 2003.

Time:          7.30pm

Place:          Parish Hall, Shawford.

AGENDA

1.    Apologies for absence.

2.    *Approval of Minutes of the 2002 Annual Parish Assembly.

3.    Matters arising on those Minutes.

4.    Keynote Speaker – Mr David Atwell, Chairman, W.C.C. Planning Committee

5.    Chairman’s report on the last year.

6.    Adoption of Audited Accounts for the Financial Year 2000/2001.

7.    Unaudited Accounts for Financial Year 2001/2002.

8.    Reports from Committee Convenors: (Brief questions will be answered after each report.)

a)    Planning.

b)   Playing Fields

c)    Highways, Byways, Environment and M3.

d)   Footpaths Representative and Tree Warden.

e)    Finance and Administration.

f)     Parish Hall – with an update from Capt. Mike Matthews, Chairman CASCA.

g)    New Pavilion – with an update from Paul Murray, Chairman New Pavilion Building Committee.

9.   Police Report – Sgt. Ord, Itchen Valley Section (Twyford).

10. School Governor’s Report.

11. Question Time; relating to any aspect of village administration – current or future.

      (It would assist the record keeping of the meeting if all questions could be   submitted to the Clerk in writing in advance, indicating the name and address of the questioner. This will also assist the Councillors in providing comprehensive answers.)

 

County Councillor Ann Bailey, District Councillor Charlotte Bailey and District Councillor Peter Mason will be in attendance and will assist in answering questions.

 

This is the statutory Annual Parish Meeting of the Parish Council. All Parishioners are welcome to attend and we hope to see as many people as possible.

Coffee and biscuits will be served at the close of the meeting.
