CASCA fund raising AUCTION for the renovation of the Parish Hall


MONDAY 26th APRIL

The event will take place in Southdown and will be conducted by one of Hampshire's most experienced Auctioneers and Valuers and a member of the BBC's Antiques Roadshow team (for four years in the late 1980s) who happily happens to live in Compton.

You will be receiving a notice through your letterbox quite soon asking for a promise, a donation or, even better, a gift of an antique, a trinket, a case of Claret or even, perhaps, a Canaletto. Often one can approach one's wine merchant, grocer or other local trades and business persons for a pledge. There will be a list of suggestions in the circular. In advance of any publicity we have already been given several items of silver, plate and a few pictures.

The evening will start at 6.30pm with viewing, followed by supper and a glass of wine all for a modest price of £5
