The parish church of All Saints', Compton, is situated in Compton Street. See map.
Dates and times of services, together with information about any special services are printed in the Church Diary section of the monthly Parish Magazine, and are posted on the noticeboard by the gate to the churchyard. The contact details for churchwardens are given under Parochial Church Council.
We are part of the United Benefice of Compton and Otterbourne and the rectory (01962-713400), currently unoccupied, is in Kiln Lane in Otterbourne.

Rectors

Paul Baird was welcomed to the parish as priest-in-charge of the United Benefice of Compton and Otterbourne at a service on Tuesday 25th November 2003. Paul, with his wife Joanna, invigorated the church and made a huge and positive effect on the whole community during the three years that they were here.

To everyone's great sadness, Paul left the benefice in October 2006.

Paul's predecessor, John Widdows, had resigned in late 2002 due to ill-health.

The previous rector, Rev Philip Barrett, who passed away on 22 April 1998, preached several sermons which contained much interesting local information. He kindly gave permission for their text to be displayed on this web site.
