Provision of a Computer
Agreed in principle to provide a computer for the Clerk
in conjunction with Otterbourne Parish Council and with
costs shared.
December 1995
Purchase of office equipment
The Finance Sub-Committee was authorised to spend
up to £2000 on a computer and copier, subject to
formal agreement with Otterbourne Parish Council as to
equal sharing of purchase price and maintenance costs.
February 1996
Purchase of equipment for the clerk's
correspondence
- The computer, printer and copier have arrived, costs to be shared with Otterbourne. The chairman will be helping the clerk learn how to
use them.
- Because of the information being stored on the
computer, the Parish Council was advised to
register under the Data Protection Act. A
registration, with statutory £75.00 fee, has been
submitted to the Registrar.
March 1996
Computer Equipment for the Clerk
Purchase and insurance costs have been paid and a
50% contribution received from Otterbourne Parish
Council. A training session for the clerk has been
arranged.
