Provision of a Computer

Agreed in principle to provide a computer for the Clerk in conjunction with Otterbourne Parish Council and with costs shared.

December 1995

Purchase of office equipment

The Finance Sub-Committee was authorised to spend up to £2000 on a computer and copier, subject to formal agreement with Otterbourne Parish Council as to equal sharing of purchase price and maintenance costs.

February 1996

Purchase of equipment for the clerk's correspondence

  1. The computer, printer and copier have arrived, costs to be shared with Otterbourne. The chairman will be helping the clerk learn how to use them.
  2. Because of the information being stored on the computer, the Parish Council was advised to register under the Data Protection Act. A registration, with statutory £75.00 fee, has been submitted to the Registrar.

March 1996

Computer Equipment for the Clerk

Purchase and insurance costs have been paid and a 50% contribution received from Otterbourne Parish Council. A training session for the clerk has been arranged.
