Rooms for hire

About the Hall
Built by public subscription in 1896 for £750, the Shawford Parish Hall celebrated its centenary with two weeks of special events at the end of 1996. Since then it has been refurbished and extended and is now a handsome and popular complex with a charm all its own. It is managed by CASCA under lease from the Parish Council.The three function rooms, backed by a stylish kitchen and spacious foyer,
can be hired either singly or in combination through the caretaker, Mr
Frank Smith, on 712944.
Many Groups and Organisations both from within the Community and from further
afield use the Hall. Individual bookings for parties and celebrations are
welcomed. Facilities for the disabled are excellent.
The Hall's attached Sub Post Office opens on Monday and Thursday afternoons.

The Titanic Connection
In the early 1990s we discovered that the old Parish Hall crockery had come from the White Star Line and was saleable to collectors of Titanic memorabilia.
