CASCA

The Compton and Shawford Community Association (CASCA) was set up as a registered charity with the objective of enhancing community facilities in the parish.

Membership is open to all members of the parish.

After some years of dormancy following the shelving of plans for a Community Centre on the Memorial Playing Fields, CASCA is now getting ready to take on the management of the Parish Hall. This was the main subject of the AGM held on 7 January 1998.

CASCA organise an annual Christmas Party in the Parish Hall, aimed at bringing the Parish together at that time: a very informal gathering where people drop in for an hour or so during the evening.
