From Shawford station: On weekdays Shawford is now served hourly with connections to Waterloo, and some additional services at peak hours. Less frequent services on Saturday and Sunday.
From Winchester: On weekdays there are three fast trains an hour between Waterloo and Winchester, with some non-stop services at peak times. Don't count on using the station car park after the morning peak - it's usually full.

Bluestar 1. This Solent Blue Line service runs between Winchester and Southampton with stops at the end of Compton Street and Southdown. Every 20 minutes during the working day and less frequently in the evenings. Every 30 minutes on Sundays during the day. See http://www.bluestarbus.co.uk/
Bluestar E2 & E3. This is an hourly service (during roughly working hours) between Winchester and Eastleigh with stops including Winchester County Hospital, Sainsbury's Badger Farm, Compton and Otterbourne. See http://www.bluestarbus.co.uk/
Service 63. This service, now operated by Stagecoach, stops opposite the Bridge Hotel and at Compton News on its route to Sainsbury's, Badger Farm, County Hospital, Winchester Broadway and the Winnall Tesco. There is one journey in each direction Monday to Saturday, departing Compton at 10:08. The return bus leaves from Tesco at 12:35.
