Times and details of services can and do change and you should check with the latest timetables before your journey.
Details of all services are given in "Connections" (Bus and Train Timetables), jointly published by Hampshire County Council and Stagecoach Hampshire Bus, distributed free to all households twice a year. The Compton Street Post Office usually has some extra copies, or contact the Passenger Transport Officer at the County Council on 0345-023067.
From Winchester: On weekdays there are now four fast trains an hour between Waterloo and Winchester..

Service 29/29A. This is an hourly service (during roughly working hours) between Winchester and Netley/Hamble via Winchester Station, County Hospital. Badger Farm, Compton, Otterbourne, Eastleigh Airport, Hedge End Superstores.
Service 47. This service runs between Winchester and Southampton with stops at Compton Street and Southdown. Twice hourly during the day, hourly in the evenings, and different in rush hour.
Service 27B. Since January 1997, this route runs now runs daily (Monday to Saturday) and has been extended. There is one journey in each direction, departing Compton Post Office at 10:03, calling at Sainsbury's, Badger Farm, County Hospital, Winchester Broadway and the Winnall Tesco. Return leaves from Tesco at 12:18.
